“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat,
I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink,
I needed clothes
and you clothed me…”

Formal Retirement Announcement: Little Daisy’s Closet
The Board of Directors for Little Daisy’s Closet announces the upcoming retirement of John and Kathy McCrae. For many years, the McCraes have faithfully guided Little Daisy’s Closet with dedication, compassion, and the servant hearted leadership that has defined the organization since its earliest days.
As they prepare to step into a well earned season of rest and renewal, John and Kathy share these words:
“Little Daisy’s Closet has been more than a store—it has been a ministry and a blessing. Every person who has walked through our doors has touched our hearts. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve this community and have witnessed God’s faithfulness in countless ways.”
John reflects: “For a long time, I felt God calling me to pause—much like Paul in Acts—to wait, listen, and be still. Now, in His perfect timing, He has released us to step into a new chapter filled with warm sunshine, peace, and the next part of the journey He has prepared.”
Kathy adds: “We are thankful beyond words for the love and support we have received. The people, the stories, and the moments shared inside Little Daisy’s Closet will stay with us always.”
Their legacy of faith, compassion, and service will continue to shape the heart of Little Daisy’s Closet for generations to come.
Leadership Transition: With Carly Ferguson joining us this January as Executive Director, she will fully take the leadership position.
Carly brings deep commitment, strong leadership, and a heartfelt understanding of the mission and ministry of Little Daisy’s Closet. Her vision, energy, and dedication have consistently demonstrated her readiness to lead the organization forward.
John and Kathy enthusiastically affirm this transition: “We are honored to pass the reins to Carly Ferguson as Executive Director. She embodies the values of Little Daisy’s Closet and leads with grace, integrity, and a heart for service. We trust fully in her ability to guide the organization into its next season.”
A Final Word of Gratitude: We offer our sincere thanks to John and Kathy McCrae for their many years of faithful service and leadership. Their devotion has deeply blessed the community, and their legacy will remain the foundation of Little Daisy’s Closet.
